After a string of three wins, Mt. Pulaski's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Calvary Saints by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Mt. Pulaski sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 17-25, 25-23.

Mt. Pulaski's defeat dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Calvary, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-9.

Mt. Pulaski does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Calvary, they will challenge Hartsburg-Emden at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
