Baseball Recap: Susquehannock Triumphs

While Susquehannock's victory against York Suburban wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Trojans 3-2. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Matt Jamison looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Susquehannock is 2-1 when Jamison allows one or fewer earned runs, but 5-9 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lucas Coleman, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Susquehannock's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for York Suburban, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-14.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Susquehannock is set to take on their familiar foe New Oxford at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, York Suburban will square off against rival Dover at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
