Woodville has gone a perfect 3-0 against Trinity recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Woodville sitting on three straight wins and Trinity on four.

Woodville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Diboll, posting a 47-7 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Luke Babin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 134 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries, while also throwing for 210 yards and three TDs. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run. Woodville's leading receiver Tanner Ledoux was Babin's top target yet again, picking up 94 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Woodville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 292 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Woodville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Landon Harris, Saineko Mitchell, Corey McDaniel, and James Kelley picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, Trinity took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 45-8 victory over Hemphill. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 26 points or more this season.

Woodville's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Trinity, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Everything came up roses for Woodville against Trinity when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 53-6 win. In that game, the Eagles amassed a halftime lead of 32-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
