Volleyball Recap: Chassell Takes a Loss

Chassell came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Marquette Sentinels, falling 3-0.

Chassell has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Marquette, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Chassell will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hancock at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Marquette, they will venture away from home to square off against Manistique at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
