Basketball Recap: Florida Coastal Prep's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Florida Coastal Prep got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They took down the Potter's House Christian Blue Lions 57-39 on Sunday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Spartans as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Florida Coastal Prep's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5. As for Potter's House Christian Blue, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Florida Coastal Prep won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Walton at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Potter's House Christian Blue, they are taking a road trip to face off against Creekside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Creekside has seven straight victories, Potter's House Christian Blue has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
