Volleyball Game Preview: Orem Tigers vs. Riverton Silverwolves

The Orem Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Riverton Silverwolves at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Orem is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games.

Orem is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Mountain View, who was ranked 20th at the time (Orem was ranked ninth). The Tigers came out on top against the Bruins by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 27-29, 25-15, 25-11.

Riverton not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 4th. They blew past Taylorsville 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Silverwolves.

Riverton walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16, 25-20.

Orem pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Riverton, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
