Basketball Recap: Tunkhannock Comes Up Short

Tunkhannock suffered their closest loss since December 15, 2023 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wyoming Seminary College Prep Blue Knights by a score of 47-45. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Blue Knights: they've now lost six in a row.

Wyoming Seminary College Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Teddy Kraus, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Antek Evan, who posted 13 points in addition to five boards and four blocks.

Tunkhannock's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Wyoming Seminary College Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Tunkhannock won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lake-Lehman at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wyoming Seminary College Prep, they will take on Holy Redeemer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
