Softball Recap: Cameron Dragons vs. Frontier Cougars

Cameron had lost four straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 3-6 to make it five. They fell just short of the Frontier Cougars by a score of 11-10. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 on Tuesday.

Cameron got a massive performance out of Edie Hartley, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI, two doubles, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Kendra Thomas, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

As for Frontier, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games.
