Baseball Game Preview: Dunkerton Raiders vs. North Tama Redhawks

Dunkerton hasn't had much luck against North Tama recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Raiders will challenge the Redhawks at 5:00 p.m.

Dunkerton is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Friday. They came up short against Collins-Maxwell, falling 8-1.

Meanwhile, North Tama had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Warriors as they made off with a 12-4 win. The Redhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by eight runs or more this season.

Dunkerton's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for North Tama, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Dunkerton couldn't quite get it done against North Tama in their previous meeting back in June of 2024 as they fell 8-5. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
