Softball Recap: West Port Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for West Port's offense. They came up short against the Tohopekaliga Tigers on Thursday, falling 6-0. The Wolf Pack's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

West Port saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brynlee Stevens, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. That's the most stolen bases Stevens has posted since back in March of 2024.

West Port's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Tohopekaliga, they pushed their record up to 4-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

West Port will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Lake at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. Tohopekaliga will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Dr. Phillips at 6:00 p.m. on March 27th.
