Sarasota Christian and Canterbury squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Sarasota Christian had to settle for second. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Blazers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sarasota Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Randall Collins, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Sarasota Christian's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Canterbury, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-9.
