Softball Recap: Penn Manor's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Penn Manor can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Cedar Crest Falcons a 15-0 shutout. The Comets' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

Juleigh Bowmaster made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Haley Kreider, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Those runs were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Scarlett Teran, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.
