Basketball Recap: Leland Ramsey and Frankie Mcintyre Secure Win for Scotland Christian Academy

On Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Scotland Christian Academy Saints beat the Bethel Christian Academy Trojans 67-61.

Scotland Christian Academy was led to victory by Frankie McIntyre and Leland Ramsey. McIntyre almost dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 11 boards, and nine assists, while Ramsey went 10 of 17 on his way to 22 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Ramsey a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Wallace, who posted seven points in addition to five boards and three steals.

The win got Scotland Christian Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Bethel Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scotland Christian Academy will square off against Marlboro Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bethel Christian Academy, they will take on Living Water Christian at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. Living Water Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Bethel Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
