Softball Recap: South Hills Finds Home Field Redemption Against San Dimas

There's no place like home for South Hills, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the San Dimas Saints on Wednesday. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Abigail Quintero looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Charli Moreno was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Isabella Morales was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

South Hills always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .515 or higher in three consecutive matches.

South Hills' record now sits at 16-8-1. As for San Dimas, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12-1 record this season.

South Hills didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-2 defeat against Los Alamitos on the 15th. San Dimas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
