Decatur had lost four straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 9-8 to make it five. They came up short against the Auburn Mountainview Lions, falling 15-5. Sam Hackney made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
