Softball Recap: Desert Christian Academy Wins Going Away Against California Military Institute

Desert Christian Academy's game on March 5th was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the California Military Institute Rough Riders with a sharp 22-9 victory. The win continues a trend for the Conquerors in their matchups with the Rough Riders: they've now won five in a row.

Desert Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Savannah Hunt, who scored five runs and stole six bases while going 4-for-5. Those six stolen bases gave Hunt a new career-high. Sydney Patterson was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Desert Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for California Military Institute, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
