With a playoff win on the line, McDonell Central rose to the challenge on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 62-13 win over the New Auburn Trojans. The result was nothing new for the Macks, who have now won eight matchups by 35 points or more so far this season.

The victory (which was McDonell Central's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.8 points on average over those games. As for New Auburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Looking ahead, McDonell Central will square off against Clayton on Friday. The Macks will need to watch out since the Bears have now posted at least 31 points in their last seven games. New Auburn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
