Knox City is 8-0 against Harrold since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Knox City Greyhounds will head out to face off against the Harrold Hornets at 7:30 p.m.

Knox City is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Munday on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Knox City lost 70-46 to Munday. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1522nd, while the Moguls are ranked 759th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harrold). They were the clear victor by a 78-55 margin over Crowell on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Hornets have posted since December 10, 2024.

Harrold moved to 3-13 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Knox City, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-13.

Everything came up roses for Knox City against Harrold in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 62-27 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Knox City since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
