Basketball Recap: Bolivar Central Wins Going Away Against City University School of Liberal Arts + How To Watch

Bolivar Central had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They strolled past City University School of Liberal Arts with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 64-46.

Kealan Polk went supernova, putting up 19 points in addition to eight steals and six boards. What's more, he posted two blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Jeremiah Woody was another key player, scoring 12 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.

Bolivar Central was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as City University School of Liberal Arts only posted one.

When it comes to explaining why City University School of Liberal Arts lost, don't look at Kevion Robertson. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 17 points and 14 boards. Robertson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down 11 or more in each of the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Denarius Perry, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards.

City University School of Liberal Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Bolivar Central has already played their next game, an 83-52 victory against Chester County on the 24th. As for City University School of Liberal Arts, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 70-30 loss against Memphis Central on the 24th.
