Basketball Recap: Worcester Tech Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Worcester Tech Eagles were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-41 to the Mt. Pleasant Kilties.

Worcester Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Mt. Pleasant, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Worcester Tech will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Montachusett RVT at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Barrington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Barrington will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Mt. Pleasant surely won't give up without a fight.
