Wiseburn- Da Vinci lost a heartbreaker the last time they played El Segundo, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's game. The Wolves put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 11-5 victory on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wolves needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Edward Sanchez was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lonnie Jackson, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Sanchez wasn't the only one making solid contact: Wiseburn- Da Vinci kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The Wolves are a perfect 7-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for El Segundo, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-3-1 record.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
