Volleyball Recap: Carver High School of Engineering & Science Starts Season with Loss at Home

Carver High School of Engineering & Science unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Science Leadership Academy Rockets on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked Carver High School of Engineering & Science's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

The victory was the fifth in a row (dating back to last season) for Science Leadership Academy, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Carver High School of Engineering & Science is taking a road trip to square off against George Washington at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Science Leadership Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Abraham Lincoln at 3:00 p.m.
