Softball Recap: Nantucket Takes a Loss

Nantucket was the 9-5 winner over St. John Paul II when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Whalers took a 17-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Friday. The Whalers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nantucket's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for St. John Paul II, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-3.

Nantucket has already played their next match, a 22-6 victory against Martha's Vineyard Regional on the 4th. As for St. John Paul II, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-5 loss against Dennis-Yarmouth Regional on the 5th.
