Volleyball Recap: West Bend East Takes a Loss

West Bend East lost against Oconomowoc back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Suns fell 2-0 to the Raccoons.

Malia Haug paced West Bend East's offense, picking up four kills. Haug got some help from Lydia Hoier and her six assists. Sami Weber and Violet Zier kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

West Bend East has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Oconomowoc, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 23-1.

West Bend East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Oak Creek on the 26th. As for Oconomowoc, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fond du Lac on the 26th.
