Oceanside and Medomak Valley are an even 4-4 against one another since September of 2017, but not for long. The Mariners will challenge the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oceanside is looking for their season's first victory.

On Saturday, Oceanside ended up a good deal behind Oak Hill and lost 28-14.

Meanwhile, after only eight points in their last contest, Medomak Valley made sure to put some points up on the board against York on Saturday. The Panthers blew past the Wildcats 40-14. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Panthers' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Oceanside's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Medomak Valley, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Oceanside strolled past Medomak Valley in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 28-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mariners since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
