The West Lincoln Bears were the 65-35 winner over the Wesson Cobras when they last played one another back in November, but their luck changed this time around. West Lincoln fell to Wesson 45-41. West Lincoln's defeat continues a unfortunate trend for the squad, making it three in a row.
Wesson was led to victory by Kemari Brown and Omari Johnson. Brown scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds, while Johnson scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds. Austin Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 6 rebounds.
The last time West Lincoln won on the road was back back in November. Having now lost three straight away matches, they've bumped their record down to 3-6. As for Wesson, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-7.
West Lincoln will be playing at home against Puckett at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wesson, they will head out on the road to face off against Bogue Chitto at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
