Volleyball Game Preview: Las Lomas Knights vs. Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles

The Las Lomas Knights will take on the Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Las Lomas will be strutting in after a victory while Clayton Valley Charter will be coming in after a defeat.

Las Lomas took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Acalanes with a sharp 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Clayton Valley Charter came up short against Campolindo on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Clayton Valley Charter was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Campolindo work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 21-25, 25-15, 25-13.

Las Lomas pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Clayton Valley Charter, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-5.

Las Lomas took their win against Clayton Valley Charter in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 3-0. Will Las Lomas repeat their success, or does Clayton Valley Charter has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
