Volleyball Recap: Clemens Gets the Win

Clemens picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the McNeil Mavericks.

Claire Untereiner paced Clemens' offense, picking up nine kills. Untereiner got some help from Emily Corkill and her eight assists. Corkill was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Clemens' win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for McNeil, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-22 record this season.

Clemens has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Warren on the 30th. As for McNeil, they will venture away from home to face off against Hutto at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
