Stuarts Draft extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 4-1. They took their game with ease, bagging a 52-14 win over the Rockbridge County Wildcats. That looming 52-14 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cougars yet this season.

Baylor Graber had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 153 yards and three scores on only six carries, and also picked up 56 receiving yards and one TD. His longest rush was for an impressive 52 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another rusher making a difference was Derrick Moore, who rushed for 97 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Stuarts Draft proved: they limited Rockbridge County to a paltry 2.1 yards per carry. While two picked up at least two total tackles, Moore stood above the rest. He rushed for 97 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries. Stuarts Draft didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 14.9.

As for Rockbridge County, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 312th, while Stuarts Draft is ranked 132nd).

Rockbridge County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marshall Earhart, who picked up 98 receiving yards and one TD.
