Softball Recap: Jo Byrns Comes Up Short

Jo Byrns was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions.

Jo Byrns now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Christ Presbyterian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jo Byrns will head out to challenge East Robertson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christ Presbyterian Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Harpeth Hall at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
