Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rockbridge County). Everything went their way against the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues on Saturday as they made off with an 18-5 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Rockbridge County's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Parry McCluer, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-12.

Rockbridge County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Fighting Blues: the pair will be back at it again later today.
