Basketball Game Preview: Westmoor Rams vs. Oceana Sharks

Westmoor is on a seven-game streak of home losses, Oceana a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Wednesday. The Westmoor Rams will welcome the Oceana Sharks at 6:00 p.m. Westmoor will be strutting in after a win while Oceana will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with eight defeats in a row, Westmoor turned things around against Mills on Friday. They managed a 46-41 victory over the Vikings.

Meanwhile, Oceana ended up a good deal behind South San Francisco on Friday and lost 75-56. The Sharks were down 69-30 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Oceana now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Westmoor, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-16.

Everything went Westmoor's way against Oceana in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Westmoor made off with a 68-48 victory. Will Westmoor repeat their success, or does Oceana have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
