Cyprus entered their tilt with Taylorsville on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 6-1. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Easton Seeley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Cody Densley was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Nick Griffel was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Cyprus' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Taylorsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Cyprus will have a chance to go back-to-back against Taylorsville: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
