St. David's is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Trinity Academy. St. David's blew past Trinity Academy 12-5 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.

Smith Goracke made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 11 batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
