Football Recap: Baldwinsville Takes a Loss

Baldwinsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars 41-13. While losing is never fun, the Bees can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Northstars are ranked 29th).

Baldwinsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Cicero-North Syracuse, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Baldwinsville is set to face off against their familiar foe Proctor at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Cicero-North Syracuse will square off against rival Christian Brothers Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
