Pulaski Academy waltzed into their game on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Maumelle Hornets. The Bruins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Ace Dewese was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Luke Edwards was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

Pulaski Academy's victory bumped their record up to 25-3. As for Maumelle, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-8.

Pulaski Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maumelle, they will venture away from home to challenge Greenbrier at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Hornets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
