Las Animas won the last time they faced Center and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Las Animas was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15, 25-13.

Jadann Eck paced Las Animas' offense, picking up nine kills. Eck got some help from Bree Tyler and her ten assists. Eck was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Las Animas' win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Center, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Las Animas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Crowley County on the 9th. As for Center, they will look to defend their home court on the 15th against Trinidad at 4:30 p.m.
