Del Sol is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 28-18 to Canyon Springs on Monday. While the Dragons had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Pioneers 12-7.

Meanwhile, Southeast Career Tech faced Sports Leadership & Management in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. Everything went Southeast Career Tech's way against Sports Leadership & Management as Southeast Career Tech made off with a 26-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Roadrunners, who have now won ten contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Southeast Career Tech pushed their record up to 15-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.3 points. As for Del Sol, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Del Sol beat Southeast Career Tech 31-19 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Southeast Career Tech's Leyla Randolph, who threw for 118 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 120 yards on only 14 carries.
