Volleyball Recap: St. Charles Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Bishop Watterson

St. Charles faced Bishop Watterson in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Cardinals came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

St. Charles' loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Bishop Watterson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Coming up, St. Charles will venture away from home to challenge St. Francis DeSales at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop Watterson, they will host Bishop Hartley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
