Baseball Game Preview: Manassas Park Cougars vs. Osbourn Eagles

Manassas Park is on a four-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Osbourn a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Manassas Park Cougars will host the Osbourn Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Manassas Park challenged Warren County on Thursday. The Cougars came up short against the Wildcats, falling 20-2.

Manassas Park saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wesley Howell, who went 1-for-2 with one run. That hit was Howell's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Osbourn's offense. They lost 37-0 to Osbourn Park on Wednesday.

Osbourn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Manassas Park, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Manassas Park got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Osbourn by a conclusive 16-6 score. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
