Basketball Game Preview: Parsippany Redhawks vs. Kittatinny Regional Cougars

The Parsippany Redhawks will take on the Kittatinny Regional Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Parsippany is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Parsippany will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Lenape Valley, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. Parsippany came out on top against Lenape Valley by a score of 44-36 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Kittatinny Regional didn't have too much trouble with North Warren Regional on Thursday as they won 54-39. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Patriots are ranked 322nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kittatinny Regional's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.2 points. As for Parsippany, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Parsippany didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Kittatinny Regional in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 36-32 victory. Will Parsippany repeat their success, or does Kittatinny Regional have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
