Softball Recap: John F. Kennedy Fighting Eagles vs. Garrett Morgan Falcons
John F. Kennedy had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell victim to a rough 19-4 loss at the hands of the Garrett Morgan Falcons on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to John F. Kennedy of the 23-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
For Garrett Morgan's part, the team relied heavily on Jae'Lynn Y, who scored four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Raiin K, who scored four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
John F. Kennedy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rhodes at 5:00 p.m. on April 25th. As for Garrett Morgan, they will head out on the road to challenge Glenville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
