Softball Recap: Delano Takes a Loss

Delano saw some tournament action on Monday. They lost 13-5 to the Torres Toros.

Delano saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sadie Garcia, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Delano has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13-1 record this season. As for Torres, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delano will venture away from home to challenge Kennedy at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. The Tigers are facing the Thunderbirds at the right time seeing as the Thunderbirds are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Torres, they will head out to take on Hoover at 3:30 p.m. on the 23rd. The Patriots will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Toros surely won't give up without a fight.
