Volleyball Recap: Decatur Central Takes a Loss

The Decatur Central Hawks came up short against the Franklin Central Flashes on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Mike Norton paced Decatur Central's offense, picking up five kills. Norton got some help from Kenyo Rivera and his four assists. Finally, Norton was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Decatur Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Franklin Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Decatur Central will face off against Plainfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Franklin Central, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Beech Grove on the 24th.
