Soccer Recap: Monterey Trail Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in November of 2024, Monterey Trail was forced to settle for a draw on Monday. They and the Sheldon Huskies finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Monterey Trail's draw gives them a new season record of 9-7-2. As for Sheldon, they moved theirs to 5-2-2.

Monterey Trail and Sheldon should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Monterey Trail (ranked 342nd) will meet Elk Grove (ranked 705th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sheldon will take on Cosumnes Oaks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday up 878 places (102 vs. 980).
