Volleyball Recap: North Ridgeville Takes a Loss

If North Ridgeville was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Normandy on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rangers came up short against the Avon Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Rangers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-16.

Ava Hoch paced North Ridgeville's offense, picking up six kills. Hoch got some help from Sydney Dales and her ten assists.

North Ridgeville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Avon, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

North Ridgeville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Elyria on the 21st. As for Avon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Olmsted Falls on the 21st.
