Recap: Davis Darts vs. Syracuse Titans
The Davis Darts won the last time they faced the Syracuse Titans, and things went their way on Friday too. Davis walked away with a 64-52 victory over Syracuse.
Leading Davis to victory were Ike Morgan and Coleman Atwater. Morgan scored 13 points along with three steals, while Atwater scored 16 points along with five rebounds. Atwater is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jt Turley, who scored 11 points.
Davis is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Syracuse, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Davis will square off against Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Farmington is on a five-game streak of home wins, Davis a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Syracuse, they will head out on the road to square off against Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Fremont focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Friday.
