Baseball Recap: Kofa Takes a Loss

After flying high against Gila Ridge last Monday, Kofa came back down to earth. The Kings fell just short of the Cibola Raiders by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The Kings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Ryan Rosas made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, one triple, and two RBI. Kofa is 2-1 when Rosas posts one or more home runs, but 7-9 otherwise.

Kofa now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Cibola, their record is now 11-8.

While Kofa had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
