Beecher put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Momence Momence Athletics with a sharp 14-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won ten matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Ava Lorenzatti made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and one run. Those two triples gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Makenzie Johnson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Ava Olson was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Beecher kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in five consecutive games.

Beecher's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-0.
