Football Recap: North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights vs. Wake Prep Academy Guardians
North Raleigh Christian Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Wake Prep Academy Guardians by a score of 19-6. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Guardians: they've now won three in a row.

North Raleigh Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cooper Herakovich, who threw for 143 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards. What's more, Herakovich posted two passing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to North Raleigh Christian Academy's defense and their three sacks. Quinn Brokaw refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Looking ahead, North Raleigh Christian Academy will face off against Ambassador Christian School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wake Prep Academy, they will square off against North Moore at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
